RAM fiasco continues.
Its getting ridiculous. the other parts seem to be holding steady but the very key components of getting a computer working, the RAM and memory means the prices for even old retarded hardware have gone up ridiculously because people can recycle microchips that they then remove from the surface of the eectronics.
This means that even the most rubbish out of date tech has a new found resell value as upscale or redeployed microchips.
A lot of these old tech have got some RAM and SSD which is looking to be recycled or remanufactured.
Further more there is a growing online computer community of electronic fabricators that have learned how to fabricate electronics.
Weve been a fan of CADCAM especially Open Source Solutions such as KiCAD and 3CAD also.
A little bit further down you also have awesome engineering tools like SCILAB and a variety of Xschem and Xmag, HSL’s ( otherwise know as hardware description languages).
There are also a small number of Open Source manufactures that can use these open source validations to actually manufacture microchips , both in the analog digital and mixed domains. However these manufactures are way behind the leading edge silicon from intel amd nvidia apple and samsung.
There are a good few next best industrial giants that might not be widely known, such as Texas Instruments, or Wurth electronik.
