OK, so we’ve been updating visual studio community 2026 in particular the NVIDIA Nsight application which has just been updated so that’s good news for us but we have to be on the present grace Blackwell architecture so basically minimum is a 50x series GPU for us at least anyway, it is now only backwards compatible with a 4080 or upwards IF you want to use the very latest NVIDIA tools and libraries,( CUDA 13.x Pytorch NumPy, etc etc etc.)
So because if this fresh wave of releases were seeing the madness that is AI sort of form into agents and fields of sub agents, and were are getting a bit of performance boost aswell.
The Isaac SIM robotics is particular interesting because it is taking things to a whole new level especially when the algorithms and applications are now found to be existing in a virtual world of sorts, with IsaacSIM labs !
This is particular wild because you can now accesses all of this ai stuff from within a virtual world so using VR XR and video games platforms, so its much much easier to interact with.
Also the language interactivity through prompting and also speech is getting a little bit better in terms of translating terms into effects.
Finally, why is this a big deal ? One can observe an individual developer with the right AI tool set and visualisation and expressive capabilities can set the ball rolling all across many many workflows across a variety of computer programs and software tools.
For Creative and Artistic style studios this mean the individual is very very very enhanced with these capabilities and techniques allowing a massive massive massive increase in capability across the whole spectrum of digital enhanced capabilities.
Some present examples include plugging all of the AI back into Unreal Engines and Front Ending video games into the Nvidia AI world seamlessly, but the elements within the game are creating using ‘pcg’ and ‘rag’ and a variety of other little tricks and techniques, allowing population of ‘life-like’ everything, sort of making virtual reality more realistic figuratively speaking.
You could easily generate much music and sound effects and populate whole entire virtual worlds skilfully and stylistically almost instantly, well it would still take the AI time to bake it Al into the project but you could instantly get going with dialogue story-lines, and such stuff, and have your team work backwards through the materials sort of stylistically curating the game engines assets and such like moving into more focus areas where you would want to sharpen the details or round a few edges off.
So its a bit of a big deal this round of version updates NVIDIA of course skillfully making themselves most useful in this respect.
And because the IssacSIM and Robotics Labs are very close to real world physics the pcg element means that artificial intellgiences can be trained within this virtual reality for deployment in the real world so its a bit of a hop skip and a jump back into the physical but thats the idea anyways, at least a few more versions down the line it will essentially be true to life ad the AI will be trained for deployment in ‘the real world’ !
