This is a fascinating emergent field, were the combination of technical problems in both traditional software and block-ware block chain enhanced software, whereby obstacles are faced as regards updates, wither live memory or installed software.
Just think how problematic it is for hundreds of thousands of users, or even at the level of operating systems and their corresponding updates.
As you can see its a major engineering challenge facing computer science today.
Enter the emergence of new specialism the field of updating. Although it doesn’t sound very exotic, especially compared to cybernetics or even the various AI or Super Intelligence fields.
Its an important phase transition to truelly handling global data volume.
Whilst mainly used in computer video games the research and development that has gone into to successfully managing mega online data volumes at multi-region scale.
